What is Homeopathy? 

Introduced in the late 18th Century by Dr. Samuel Hahnemann, Homeopathy is a system of non-toxic medicine that uses highly diluted substances to trigger the body's natural healing processes. It is used to treat a wide variety of dis-eases and illnesses in the shortest, surest and the most effective way possible.​

Individualized.

As a great Professor once said, when explaining what it is like to be treated Homeopathically: It's not just the computer (ie; the disease) that we look at. We need to look at each and every single part that puts that computer together. In otherwords, every individual needs to be examined and what is specific to them, must be determined. No two people are alike even though they may have a lot of common denominators.

It is why Homeopathy is so effective in its treatment. Practiced worldwide, it is estimated that over 200 million people use homeopathy on a regular basis.

What do I need to do to prepare for my appointment?

Paperwork will be provided and is to be filled out prior to your appointment. Information from those papers will be used as a starting point for your appointment. Your Homeopath, Kelly, will capture details specific to you, as if painting the most beautiful, detailed picture you've ever seen. Making sure to include every aspect of your overall mental, emotional and physical symptoms; helping to bring you back into state of optimal health so you can start to feel like you again! To help achieve your health goals, Kelly may recommend changes to diet, lifestyle choices and/or additional therapies depending on your assessment.

​I heard some people can feel worse, is this true?

Yes, some patients can go through what is known as an "initial aggravation" which is typically short lived and very mild. Some compare as having a "bad day"; followed by amelioration, or feeling better. This is a great indication that your body is responding appropriately to the Homeopathic Medicine that was provided.

Will my insurance cover the cost of my appointment? 

Many health insurance companies do cover part, or all your appointment. Currently, Registered members with the Canadian Society of Homeopaths are recognized by the following insurance companies for supplemental or paramedical health coverage:

Patients are advised to check with their insurance company as to whether their policy includes homeopathic visits (sometimes included under supplemental or paramedical services). If your policy does not provide the coverage you require, you are encouraged to be pro-active by writing the insurance company requesting them to include homeopathy in your plan.

​Initial Appointment: Up to 90mins $285

An initial appointment is a full comprehensive assessment, where Kelly will sit down with you and learn all there is to know about you! A one on one private consultation for you to go over all of your health concerns; as well as addressing the mental/emotional components of your life to create a complete and whole picture. A treatment plan is created for you at the end of the appointment and additional therapies may be recommended based on the final assessment. ​

Extended Follow Up Appointment: Up to 60 mins $170 

This appointment is appropriate for patients who have completed the initial intake and follow ups but have not been seen for more than 6 months. Additional appointment time is required to gather some additional history information. This appointment is also for clients who need a bit more one on one time than the traditional follow up.

**please note that if you have not had an appointment for more than a year, an initial appointment will be required for proper assessment**

Follow-up Appointments: Up to 40 mins $115

In order to ensure our treatment plan and selected homeopathic remedy is moving in the right direction follow ups are necessary. This allows Kelly to see how well the homeopathic remedy is working and whether any adjustments in treatment are necessary.

Acute Care Appointments (for existing patients only): Up to 20 mins $60

​For those with a sudden onset of a cough, cold, flu, influenza, strep throat, ear infections, tonsilitis, yeast infections, UTI's, travelers diarrhea or any recent injuries that happened to you. A thorough evaluation and assessment of your symptoms will be taken to figure out your needs and prescribe to treat the current condition. This appointment includes one 10 minute follow up or two 5  minute follow up within the first 3 days after treatment to ensure you’re feeling better and you are heading in the right direction! 

**Should an additional follow up be required, Kelly will let you know by the end of your appointment.**

​Pediatric (12 & under)Initial Appointment: Up to 90 mins $250
